Learn basic ashtanga yoga before you head out to surf!

We offer basic ashtanga yoga at our academy in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It is a great combination of surfing. It helps by adding strength, flexibility, good health, and relaxation.

We offer classes twice a day, both in the morning and later in the afternoon. The morning session will energize you and get you ready for the activities of the day (including surfing), while the late afternoon session will relax your body and help you rest well.

Morning Yoga Session. (Rs.600/- Per Person)

We offer 1 hour class of basic introductory Ashtanga yoga. Morning classes are great to energize you and a great warm-up for the morning surf session. It is very important to stretch your muscles before surfing, it reduces the chances of sprains or sore muscles after the surf.

Apart from that, it’s a good way to start your day with a little bit of exercise and meditation. The class is conducted by a certified instructor who will guide you throughout and make sure that you are doing it right. All this with the beautiful view of beaches and landscapes of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Yoga and surfing are a great combination and will definitely help you with flexibility, the balance of body and mind, and with the right postures on the surfboard.

Our yoga classes are conducted by a certified instructor who is available on request. So please let us know in advance if you wish to take up this morning class.

Evening Yoga Session (Rs.600/- Per Person)

We offer 1-hour lesson of basic introductory Ashtanga yoga. The classes are great to relax your muscles from surfing and your mind from the stresses of life. It helps you wind down and get a better and much-needed sleep during the night.

Yoga is especially good if you are experiencing tiredness, some sore muscles or just a stiff body. It helps you be ready for the following day’s water sports activities with a lot more energy. 

Apart from that, it’s always good to end your day of activities with a little bit of exercise and meditation. The class is conducted by a certified instructor who will guide you throughout and make sure that you are doing it right.
